Cade is an awesome big brother to Phoebe.  He watches out for her, makes sure she isn't doing something that could hurt her, gets overprotective when another person shows Phoebe attention.....I could go on and on.  Today, they were playing together and it was really quiet so I went in to check on them.  Here is what I found.

Sunday Fun

We spent some time together today making brownies.  Nothing special, just plain ol' brownies.  It's so nice to cook with my kids.  They are at the age now where they can measure accurately, pour all of the ingredients and basically make the whole recipe.  Pretty stress free, I tell ya.

Makin' memories....that's what it's all about.

Fall Soccer Has Begun

Soccer season kicked off today!

Chloe played 1st at 9:00.  She's on the big fields now and each team has a goalie.  Our friend (Carson's mom) Jill is the coach and she is awesome with the kids!

I thought we were over this....

Ok, many of you may remember when we first moved in to our house.....we battled many a scorpion.  Well, guess what???  There baaaack!  AGH!  I can't stand those things.  Talk about something giving you the heebie jeebies.  It makes me even more nervous to think about Phoebe picking one up or stepping on one!  The big kids know to yell very loudly when they see the infamous "ouchy bug" because we've been talking about them for 3 years since we moved in.  However, the multitude of findings decreased this year, until now.  We found one last week in Chloe's room. Luckily, Bryan was here to pick it up for me.  Today.....not so lucky.  I am currently waiting for the kids to wake up from their naps so I can turn on the vacuum and suck it up!

I know, bizarre post but things have been kinda slow around here lately :)
